Palatka Flooring has been in business since 1963, longer than any other store that sells floor covering in Palatka.  We didn’t open yesterday and we aren’t going to close tomorrow.  We are owned and operated by three generations of the Watts family who were all born and raised in Palatka.  Most of our customers have bought from us before and have returned because they enjoy doing business with us. All of our sales staff were floor technicians in the past. They know floors and can help our customers make better choices in floor coverings. We will stand by our products and our installation. If you have a problem, we will not give you a telephone number for the complaint department. We will personally resolve any problem you have with your new flooring product. Customer satisfaction is our priority. When we give an estimate, which is always free, it is the total cost of the job. We do not have hidden charges nor do we “nickel and dime” you with added cost which are not included in the cost per square foot of floor covering or the installation.

Palatka Flooring is a small-town store. By keeping our overhead low, we can pass on the cost savings to our customers by offering lower prices.  We have over 5,000 samples in our showroom from nationally advertised, name brand products.  We offer flooring from carpet, ceramic tile, vinyl in sheet goods and vinyl composition to wood selections in solid, manufactured and laminate.  We also sell commercial applications of each of these products.  Our suppliers are reputable manufacturers with warranties on their products.  We don’t offer “low end”, cheaply made products as we never want our customers to be disappointed with their new floors.  We also stock a large selection of remnants and can cut to order and bind carpet for our customers.

We have a personal interest in our community and our friends and neighbors. We have the experience and knowledge from having been floor technicians ourselves. We know floors from personal experience, not what we have been told. We welcome do-it-yourselfers and we will be happy to answer your questions and give you instructions if you wish. We believe customer satisfaction is the most important part of our business. We want you to come again when you want flooring. Being in a small town means we will see you in the grocery or super store and we want you to be glad to see us. We are your friends and neighbors.
